Supervising Family Solicitor

About the Role:-

This role would be well suited to an experienced lawyer with 1+ years PQE looking for a new challenge. You will be responsible for a caseload of funded family work and supervising other fee-earners, so previous supervisory experience is an essential requirement of this role

Working within a highly skilled and reputable team, you will support the family department and will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and updating precedents, developing training programmes and assisting fee earners with technical queries

There will also be the chance to take an active involvement in business development.

An ambitious solicitor who is committed to growing with the practice and promoting the family team through strong networking and marketing

Commercially aware, you ensure that files are billed on time and strive to achieve department targets

You have a strong background in publicly family work; have supervisory experience, and ideally, family panel membership;

Familiar with the online legal aid scheme (CCMS); have excellent communication skills, able to explain complex matters in clear, accessible English;

What’s On Offer:-

  • Salary range £30,000 – £45,000
  • 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
